We’re Astrid and Bec, two adventurers on a bold journey from Australia to Alaska, turning every kilometre into an opportunity to make a difference. Before hitting the road, Bec spent years on the frontline as a firefighter, and Astrid worked in marketing for a disaster relief non-profit, so helping others isn’t just something we do, it’s who we are. Now, armed with cameras, storytelling, and a passion for adventure, we create campaigns that shine a spotlight on causes that matter, from supporting animal welfare to empowering communities worldwide. Through our travels, we’re proving that adventure and purpose don’t just coexist, they amplify each other, transforming ordinary journeys into extraordinary impact.

CURRENT CAMPAIGN: SEND IT FOR THE STRAYS
From Melbourne to Cape York, we’re taking adventure to the next level and this time, it’s for the dogs. Freeroamchicks’ first mission is a 6 month journey across Australia to support shelters that need it most, raise awareness, and help thousands of dogs find their second chance.
We will restore an 1984 LandCruiser HJ47 and transform it into a rolling campaign vehicle, tackling tough tracks while delivering real impact. At each stop, we’ll donate our time and skills to capture professional photos and videos for shelters, and bring food, toys, and essentials for dogs and cats in need.
We’re also raising funds for a “head shelter” over the campaign, while documenting everything online so supporters can follow, donate, and engage. This is just the beginning.
